STRATEGY
- Use management frameworks visually — SWOT, BCG matrix, Porter's five forces, value chain. Draw them.
- Paper II is numerical in parts (quantitative techniques, operations) — practise problems.
- Link to Indian business examples and current economic policy — makes answers concrete.
- Structure: concept → model/framework → diagram → Indian example → critique.
- Not advisable without a management background — the breadth (accounting + marketing + operations + IT + strategy) is substantial.
Pros: structured, framework-driven; useful for administrative thinking; comfortable for MBAs. Cons: very broad; limited GS overlap; needs numerical practice; fewer UPSC-specific resources.
